Janelle C. Mattox, BSN, RN owner of Bosom Bébé, is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant providing in home and virtual lactation consultations. As a Chicago native currently residing in Dallas, Texas, she is a 2003 graduate of Ursuline College Breen School of Nursing in Pepper Pike, Ohio.
Janelle began her nursing career at Baylor University Medical Center as a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse serving the community there for 10 years. She also practiced as a Lactation Consultant at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas for nearly 2 years. She is currently a Nurse Specialist for the Public Health Department providing support and education in person or virtually for first time mothers throughout their pregnancy until their baby turns 2 years old.
Over the years Janelle has become very passionate about breastfeeding and the benefits it has for mothers and babies.
Bosom BéBé’s mission and vision is to provide breastfeeding education, self care encouragement, and empowerment for mother’s helping them believe they have everything they need to nurture their baby.
